The thunderous applause as Senator Hillary Clinton took the Carnegie Hall stage during Monday's Glamour Women of the Year Awards lasted a full minute. As one of the 10 recipients of the accolade, Clinton joked she was "very grateful to Glamour ... because they always liked my pantsuits."The first female presidential candidate also spoke seriously about the need for the ceremony, which puts the spotlight on extraordinary and inspirational women making a difference in today's global community.
