Supermodel turned actress Deepika Padukone who is really appreciated for her sense of style and her beauty declared that she is not a slave to fashion trends and wears what she finds comfortable.She was in Delhi to walk the ramp for designers Shantanu and Nikhil at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week,
“I believe in being comfortable in what I wear instead of wearing something in fashion that does not suit my body. I don’t follow fashion trends,” said Deepika.
On being asked who her favorite designer in the industry and without battling an eyelid, pat she replies - Manish Malhotra.
“Manish always goes out of his way for me and does a good job. He also did my first film ‘Om Shanti Om’,” she explains.
She also announced the winner of a Fiama Di Wills Beautiful Face 2008 Hunt, organised in collaboration with the Elite Modelling Agency.
Unfortunately the chosen face looks nothing in comparison to Deepika’s face. Poor Girl!

Despite giving two hits this year in form of Race and Bachna Ae Haseeno, Bipasha Basu is rather angry with the situation that she finds herself in. Well, it has nothing to do with her professional or personal front. The situation has arisen after her agreeing to work with new and somewhat younger stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
It has led to a section of the media and the press asking her a lot of idiotic questions like how it feels to work with heroes younger than her. Bipasha also clarifies that she is older to Ranbir by just about a year or so and their vibrant chemistry in Bachna Ae Haseeno has come in for a lot of praise. And as for Nitin, he too is no kid and she is sure that her on-screen pairing with Neil Nitin Mukesh in her next venture, Freeze, will also be appreciated by the paying audience.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Wedding Rumors Not True

As quickly as the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding rumors were out there, the marriage gossip was quickly denied. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not married in New Orleans over the weekend.
A source close to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said the wedding rumors were not true, telling People magazine, there was “no wedding.”
Turns out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie haven’t been in New Orleans in two weeks, so they definitely weren’t married there.
Star magazine’s web site, who initially ran the news of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting married, issued this retraction on their site:
“Sources in a position to have information regarding a secret wedding ceremony between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had confirmed to Star that the couple married in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel on Saturday, March 29. “There were two weddings, one planned and one unplanned,” one source told Star. “Brad and Angelina’s was the planned ceremony. The weather wasn’t good, so we were indoors.”
After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story. Brad and Angelina’s reps have not commented.”

Mallika Sherawat in Gossip

All the local delivery boys and grocery shop owners hate Mallika Sherawat for her high handed starry attitude. Mallika stays in Mumbai's up market suburb Versova area along with her brother. In the same Raheja complex that she stays other film personalities like Amrita Rao and Rohit Manasi Roy too stay apart from many other TV celebs. We have found out from those staying around her that she is one of the most hated celebs around.
A source told us, "She unashamedly throws her diva like attitude even while working out in her society's gym. She doesn't like people around when she is working out. She yells at all those who even look at her for a brief second when she is doing her work outs. She doesn't even
spare the poor delivery boys who want to use the same lift which she is entering. She makes them wait and uses the lift alone. If she orders anything from the near by grocery shops and the delivery chap is late by even 5 minutes she gives him a lashing of his life. She also orders him to not stand outside her flat for the lift and either use the stairs to go down or take a lift from a floor below. That's the reason why grocery shop owners hate her big time. She should understand that she is no top actress and her recent back to back two flops should teach her some humility especially when dealing with less fortunate people!"
One wonders whether it is the same Mallika who once cried hoarse about her middle class up bringing in small town Rohtak and how she empathized with middle class working people. Success or failure really does strange things to people in Bollywood but it seems extremely extreme in case of the salacious actress!
